Construction Industry Mentoring Service - 2009

Working alongside Ireland's construction professionals. We want you to achieve more, 7000 clients say a lot for us and we would now like to help you.
Following extensive work with construction companies around Ireland and worldwide John Donnelly now offers this unique one-2-one mentoring service and you don't have to leave your office!
The MENTORING package can be one, two topics or a full series as set out below. The MENTORING service will include one 2 one evaluation of the workload and tasks carried out by each selected MENTOREE over an initial duration of two hours per topic. Should additional time be required by you the client this can be agreed. A summary report will be provided for each two hour session. Should any client be dissatisfied with the two-hour MENTORING session then no fee will be charged. This is an open opportunity for your company to receive in-company MENTORING from an experienced construction industry trainer with worldwide credentials.
Upon agreement to take a MENTORING session each client will be issued with a list of tasks to be completed in advance of the MENTORING session which will ensure that time spent with the MENTOREE is maximised and that the company client receives good value.

The selection of MENTORING topics includes but is NOT restricted to:

  • PURCHASING SYSTEMS
    • How you organise your buying of materials etc.
    • Evaluating the current procedures and working alongside your Purchasers to bring best practice to your processes.
  • CONSTRUCTION WASTE MANAGEMENT (2 Options)
    • 1 - Involving a selected member of company management to establish cost of waste and how it compares with best practice and to demonstrate the financial benefits of changing to proven waste control systems which have saved companies up to 40% off their waste related costs.
    • 2 - On site training for site staff to help understand ways to minimise all waste related costs including reducing physical waste of materials and minimising cost of waste skip charges.
  • PRICES & SUPPLIER/SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
    • Working alongside your Quantity Surveyor or Purchaser to structure methods to maximise your business relationship with your suppliers whilst maintaining their willingness to supply etc. We have provided satisfied clients with substantial added profitability in this area at little cost.
  • FORMS AND RECORDS TO ENABLE CONTRACTORS TO MANAGE THEIR PURCHASING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT
    • Over 12 forms with simple explanations for their use.

The cost €95 per person is the basic cost per two-hour session on any topic.
Two sessions in any morning or afternoon at the discounted rate of €175 per person.
Additional staff may also participate at €45 each per session.
